Re: STOP THE PROPOSED CUTS TO IHSS AND OTHER ESSENTIAL PROGRAMS IN THE BUDGET
The California May Revise Budget is proposing to make a number of severe cuts to services affecting people with disabilities, older people, immigrants, and other communities. These include:
  • Eliminating IHSS (home care) for undocumented immigrants
  • Cuts to IHSS’s back-up provider program
  • Cuts to food programs, housing, developmental Services
The time to take action and ensure justice for our communities is now.  You have the power to impact the final budget, but – TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE.
