Re: STOP THE PROPOSED CUTS TO IHSS AND OTHER ESSENTIAL PROGRAMS IN THE BUDGET
The California May Revise Budget is proposing to make a number of severe cuts to services affecting people with disabilities, older people, immigrants, and other communities. These include:
Eliminating IHSS (home care) for undocumented immigrants
Cuts to IHSS’s back-up provider program
Cuts to food programs, housing, developmental Services
The time to take action and ensure justice for our communities is now. You have the power to impact the final budget, but – TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE.
