Community Transition Coordinator

Position Summary:

In partnership with the Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) of San Bernardino County, the Community Transition Coordinator provides information, supports consumers in decision making, and coordinates multiple services from a variety of organizations to successfully move older adults and individuals with disabilities from medical or residential facilities to community-based living options.

The Community Transitions Coordinator will interact regularly with other ADRC partners to provide seamless, integrated services and empower independent, community-based living for older adults and persons with disabilities.

Emergency Management & Public Safety Power Shut-off (PSPS) Coordinator

Position Summary:

The purpose of EM/PSPS coordinator is to be a partner and resource to support Rolling Start Inc, state, local disaster response organizations and county emergency management offices; to identify the needs of individuals with disabilities and others with access and functional needs (AFN) before, during and after disasters in order to integrate a whole community inclusion approach for overall emergency management. The EM/PSPS coordinator utilizes a community approach by offering training and guidance to individuals with disabilities, emergency managers, planners, disability advocates and other service providers responsible for planning throughout San Bernardino, Mono and Inyo Counties and, responding to and helping communities prepare and recover from Public Safety Power Shut offs and disasters. Responsibilities include the integration of safety and other relevant regulations, and oversight of incident and event response.

Office Manager

Position Summary:

The Office Manager coordinates and oversees administrative duties as directed by the Executive Director (ED) to ensure that the office operates efficiently and smoothly. Their responsibilities include but are not limited to, managing the front office phones, greeting visitors, managing office supplies, administrative tasks, and back-up financial support (bank deposits, check writing and journal entries).

The Office Manager is highly organized and self-motivated, and has excellent attention to detail. Additionally, they model, foster and when needed can teach independent living skills to people with disabilities and older adults who are focused on living more independently within their communities.

Receptionist

  • Full Time Position/Non-Exempt
  • Victorville


Position Summary:

As our Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for Rolling Start, a non- profit, cross disability organization. You will coordinate front-desk activities, distribute correspondence and redirect phone calls. You will provide customer service, including welcoming guests and greeting consumers who visit the organization. As expected, you should be able to work under pressure, multitask, and produce quality work in timely manner.
